How we support our members

We represent our members鈥� interests through engagement with government and other stakeholders in the industry at both UK and EU levels. As well as working to shape the regulatory landscape, we support our members by providing information on developments in chemicals legislation plus seminars and courses for staff development. We encourage growth and innovation and champion a thriving chemicals industry.

Surfactants Formulation Group

The Surfactants Formulation Group runs seminars for companies operating throughout the surfactants sector supply chain, including surfactant manufacturers, formulators, distributors, industrial end-users and retailers. The themes of seminars are wide-ranging, often focussing on aspects of sustainability and green chemistry, as well as on topics of technical and regulatory interest. Seminars are open to members and non-members.

The group has organised some very interesting and well attended meetings to look at a wide range of topics around surfactants and cleaning. I found the last meeting on the green supply chain helped me understand a lot of the issues around sustainability, and what can be done to be more sustainable.
